2017’s pantone wedding color was green, that being said most of the summer brides adorned their floral decor with simple green garlands that were used to spruce up there reception areas, home decor etc. We at Trade Sensations pride on the versatility of our floral knowledge and will be introducing this unique two day class where we will be teaching the students how to make greenery garlands with added accents such as fresh flowers etc. Green garlands NEVER get out of fashion, whether it be a wedding decoration or decoration for the pews, or just simply Christmas decor, it always leaves a lasting effect on our guests as it feels most close to nature.
Course Duration:
• Course will be 6 hrs long – divided into a three hour class for two days (or a straight 6 hour class)
Types & Techniques:
• Introduction to different types of greenery used, also introduction to tools used for the process.
• Forming bunches or clusters, wiring, taping.
• Students will also learn how to incorporate flowers into the garlands using water tubes, wires etc..
• Students will also be introduced to all floral garlands (as seen on Karen Tran videos), this technique will ONLY be introduced and briefly explained theoretically. Students that will take both the wreath making class and the garland class will be able to relate and understand floral foam techniques more clearly.
• Students will be able to take all their work home and enjoy their new creations!
